A professional writer, editor, and instructional designer, Allaya has been instrumental in telling the stories of several well-known lifestyle, wellness, and mental fitness brands. She's passionate about the power of well-written, well-researched content to make a difference in people's lives. Allaya began working with Static Media as a writer in 2020 and has been part of the editorial team for over two years. She partners with OMNoire in their mission to create safe spaces for women and non-binary people of color traveling abroad.
Education
Allaya completed her associate degree in liberal arts at Kingsborough Community College as valedictorian and winner of the Behavioral Sciences award. During her undergraduate program, Allaya conducted research in the adult developmental psychology lab at CUNY Baruch. She graduated from the CUNY School of Professional Studies with honors, a degree in psychology, and a minor in communications & media.
